Omar Kashoura, of Arabic and English heritage, embarked on his fashion career after moving to London in 1999.

Successfully graduating in 2004 with first class honours from the London College of Fashion, and a highly acclaimed collection that secured the top prize of Best International Menswear Designer at New York’s Gen Art Style Awards in 2005, Kashoura began his working career at London-based fashion house Preen and later secured a consulting position with Unconditional.

Seeking further development and recognition, in 2006 Kashoura decided to go back to complete his Masters Degree at the highly acclaimed Central Saint Martin’s school of Art and Design.

Since graduating with his Masters, the Omar Kashoura label has developed into an easily recognisable brand, has gone on to gain support from the CFE (Centre for Fashion Enterprise); in 2008 he won the prestigious Deutsche Bank Pyramid Award and 2010 he received the New Generation Designer award from the British Fashion Council.

The brand's aim is to be progressive (visionary leadership, innovation and creativity) whilst influencing the way men dress, and has firmly established its signature look, embodying the modern gentleman with sharp cuts, unique finishing and the brand's trademark details.

The brand is fast becoming recognisable for its modern approach to colour and its signature navy suit acknowledged by the media and artists all over the world. It has shown in London, New York, Miami, Chicago, Paris, Japan and as part of Arabian Fashion World.

The label is committed to developing external relations and focuses on collaborating with companies on new projects, events and developing key angles to the brand, recently working with Chris and Tibor on a range of men's luggage and consultancy on a line for the Turkish brand Tween for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011.

Omar Kashoura was awarded New Generation Designer from the BFC for Spring 2011 and has recently been invited to produce a collection in collaboration with Topman under Lens for Spring 2012.
